Welcome to The Dairy Godmother, the DC region’s go-to locale for Wisconsin-Style Frozen Custard! Every day we serve our classic Vanilla and Chocolate, along with a super special Flavor of the Day. We also make a variety of fruity, refreshing, and usually dairy-free Sorbets in enticing flavors like Raspberry or Lemon Lavender. One important bit right off: we’ll be open every day in June, July, and August! That’s Noon – 10pm Wednesday-Saturday and Noon – 9pm Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Tuesdays are a great time to come in because not everyone realizes we’re open!

While you’re here, be sure to try our Pop! Culture exotic Ice Pops. Flavors range from the kid-friendly Guava Strawberry to the creamy Golden Milk, and Liz is always coming up with new sensations for us to try. It’s getting hot out there, so don’t forget the dog, either! Keep your best friend cool with one of our frozen Pumpkin or Banana Puppy Pops. Only the best ingredients go in, and wagging tails come out!

First Thursdays are in! These evenings of frivolity will be crowding the sidewalks all along Mt Vernon Ave monthly. Each one has a different theme, so check out Visit Del Ray for the dates and deets.
