Welcome to The Dairy Godmother, the DC region’s go-to locale for Wisconsin-Style Frozen Custard! Every day we serve our classic Vanilla and Chocolate, along with a super special Flavor of the Day. We also make a variety of fruity, refreshing, and usually dairy-free Sorbets in enticing flavors like Raspberry or Lemon Lavender. And don’t forget our Pop! Culture exotic Ice Pops! From the kid-friendly Mango-Lime to the creamy Thai Iced Tea, Liz is always coming up with new flavors for us to try.

April marks the beginning of First Thursdays here in Del Ray: evenings of frivolity crowding the sidewalks all along Mt Vernon Ave. Each month in the summer has a different theme, so check out Visit Del Ray for the dates and deets.

Mother’s Day is coming up on May 8th!      We will be open our usual Sunday hours of 12pm -9pm. Treat mom to some of our decadent chocolate-dipped Frozen Truffles, available in boxes of 6 assorted custard and sorbet flavors. If it’s a family affair, consider going in on a Frozen Custard Cake!
