Dog Days and Beyond

Summer is winding down, but we’re still busy dishing out as much delicious Wisconsin-Style Frozen Custard as we can! Hop down to the shop for some Vanilla, Chocolate, or the oh-so-lovely Flavour of the Day. Or try the fancy new flavours for our Exotic Pop!Culture Ice Pops! Oh, and the Puppy Pops for your best friend! Aside from those things; news.

Now is the time of year we celebrate the Wisconsin State Fair with the iconic Cream Puff. Every day during the fair August 6th-16th this year we’ll offer solace to those who can’t make it all the way to West Allis.

Another awesome thing about this time of year is Peaches. Every week when the farmer comes to Del Ray we load up on several crates! We’ve got yellow ones, white ones, red ones, and everything in between, so come get a lick of the season by way of Peach Cobbler, Peach Sorbet, and Peach Ice Pops!

Once the peaches are gone it will be time for school once more. Going along with that, we’ll revert to our Wednesday through Monday schedule after Labor Day.

Looking WAY ahead, mark your calendars for Art on the Avenue, coming to Del Ray for the 20th year in a row! On Saturday, October 3rd this year hundreds of artists and foodies and whatnot will appear on the Avenue! This means no parking on or near Mt. Vernon from 7a-7p, but we’ll be open 11am-10pm; a little longer than usual. See you then!
