Hello everyone!
The leaves are falling all around, so come on down to The Dairy Godmother and enjoy our fancier fall flavors of Wisconsin-style Frozen Custard, homemade fruit Sorbets, or handy and exotic Ice Pops! Every day we have vanilla and chocolate custards, as well as a Flavor of the Day. You can print out a calendar of custard flavors from here.
Our bakery case is back in full swing now, so look out for are apple crisps, marshmallows, moonpies, snickerdoodles, ginger cookies, buttered pecans, and good ol’ chocolate chips to accompany your frozen tasties!
We’ve started taking orders for Thanksgiving treats! Thanksgiving order forms are out in the shop for the first few weeks of November, and treats can be picked up the week of the 19th. We’ll be closed on Monday, open on Tuesday and Wednesday during normal shop hours that week, and from 9 am till noon on Thanksgiving (Thursday the 22nd.) We’re taking Friday off to recover from food comas.
In other news, the 37th Annual Turkey Trot is happening an hour earlier this year, starting at 9am. Dress warm and have fun, but don’t forget to pick up your Thanksgiving goodies!
