Spring in!

If you missed an appointment on the 11th, it’s because SPRING IS UPON US!! In addition to the delightful surprises daylight saving time and March weather can bring us, we here at The Dairy Godmother are always trying to keep things fresh and interesting.  Right now have some cool treats in honor of  St. Patrick’s day, like Irish Flag Pops, a beautiful combination of kiwi, lemon, and mango flavors, and this week we’ll have big tasty loaves of Irish Soda Bread made right here by the Godmother herself, available in the shop first-come-first-served Wednesday through Saturday 14-17th.

The first day of official spring is on a Tuesday this year, so we’ll have Muddy Sneakers flavor, in all its chocolatey, brownyish, pretzely glory, on the 21st and 22nd. This year is the very exciting Centennial of the National Cherry Blossom Festival in and around DC, with a full five weeks of events! The National Park Service says the peak bloom will be from the 24th to the 28th, so come to the Capitol and see the blossoms, then head back to the Dairy Godmother for Cherry Blossom Flavor on the 30th and 31st to get a taste of the flowery trees’ fruity cousins.
