Mother's Day, 04/27/2007

Mother's Day is on the !3th this year. It is a very busy day here at the shop. I am very appreciative of my employees who spend part of that day working.
  
    Here in Washington there are so many people who are lucky enough to have all the holidays off.I hope that when they are out and about having fun on Independance Day,eating Easter brunch in a hotel,renting boats or golfclubs on Memorial Day,that they can think about how fortunate they are to have the people working to make it possible to do so.

   Don't forget Mom,either!

    We have lovely boxes of frozen truffles as well as frozen custard cakes of chocolate or raspberry decorated with butterfly cookies. They are covered in whipped cream and serve about 8 people. Yum! Email us to order ahead if you want to be sure to get one.

   We will also have marshmallows and Earl Grey tea shortbread in the shape of teapots. Very yummy and whimsical.
