Stinky Cheese Nite and the Glenn Davis Charitable Foundation, 05/22/2003

 Wisconsin became a state almost 155 yrs ago.

 We will celebrate with fabulous polka music of Paul and Steve, accordion duo, baskets of curds, Babcock baby swiss, brick and ancient cheddar as well as Door County cherry sundaes and Sprecher pop. We will do the chicken dance.

 How could this possibly be a better evening? By giving something back to the homeland.

 ALL REVENUES FROM STINKY CHEESE NIGHT WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE GLENN DAVIS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION.

 What is it?

 The Glenn Davis Charitable Foundation gives cash awards to a graduating senior at each of the 17 high schools in Waukesha County. The award is for fortitude in overcoming obstacles. In the words of Glenn Davis himself,

"I had in mind those who had overcome physical handicaps, emotional stress, broken family, family tragedies, financial hardship that required a student to work outside of school preventing him/her from shining in the classroom or in extra curricular activities."

 It is intended as recognition to those who just have to try harder.

 Come on down on Founder's day. Dance, sing, tell Norwegian jokes, eat frozen custard and give something back to Wisconsin.
